Payment
Payment is due at the time of ordering. Once Vet Meds Online has cleared the funds and received the prescription (if required) the order will be processed. We accept Credit Card and Debit card payments via Protx. (Mastercard, Visa and JCB cards are accepted).
Ordering
An order is considered a legal and binding contract once it has been accepted. Vet Meds Online reserves the right to accept or decline the offer without offering explanations. Acceptance of an order will be notified by e-mail.
Non-prescription medicines
These can be ordered on line and can be dispatched as soon as payment has cleared.
Prescription only medicine
These will require a signed prescription from your veterinarian. The prescription form can be downloaded from the vetmedsOnline.co.uk site or supplied by your veterinarian. An order shall be held for up to 60 days awaiting a prescription. If the prescription has not been supplied within that time the order will be considered cancelled and you will be credited for the goods less any reasonable fee incurred in the processing of that order.
Delivery
We aim to dispatch the goods within 1 - 3 working days of receipt of the order or valid prescription where required. Please allow up to 10 working days for delivery. If we cannot dispatch the goods within 10 working days we will notify you and you will be entitled to revise delivery date, exchange or cancel your order.
Cancellations and Returns
1. Non-prescription medicines
If you are not satisfied with your order you may return your purchase within 14 days of the dispatch date. The product must be in the original packaging, undamaged and in saleable condition. No seals may be broken and complete compliance of storage requirements and instructions must have been met for refund. Goods which have been personalised, or made as a special order may not be returned.
Please note we do not refund postage costs and we charge a handling fee. We will not be held responsible for damage incurred on returning the products. The goods must be packaged adequately and may be insured against loss or theft with correct postage.
The money will be refunded within 30 days of receiving the goods or your purchase may be exchanged.
2.Prescription medicines
We cannot accept prescription medicines returned for a refund. Any returned products have to by law be disposed of as hazardous or clinical waste. We offer a disposal service and will accept any unused products supplied by Vet Meds Online for disposal as hazardous or clinical waste.
Errors
If an order has been placed correctly and Vet Meds Online has made an error then the order can be returned and the item replaced with the correct item or your money will be refunded in full.
Faulty or Damaged Goods
If the order is faulty or damaged on arrival and Vet Meds Online is notified within 48 hours of arrival of the goods and the goods are returned within 14 days of the dispatch date, the money will be refunded in full.
Safety
All medications should be kept away from children and kept for animal use only.
Always follow instructions on the label and if in any doubt about the medication, uses or warnings contact the NOAH website at http://www.noahcompendium.co.uk/.
Keep away from extreme heat and moisture and if required store in the refrigerator.
If you are allergic to any medications, use gloves when handling your order and make sure you do not come into contact with the product. Seek medical advice about handling the product if you are unsure as to whether you are allergic to it.
If you have any reactions to medications seek medical advice.
Wash your hands after handling any medication.
Take special precautions if you are pregnant and use gloves at all times when handling medical products.
Data Protection and Security
Vet Meds Online will comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 ensuring the safety of your personal data.
All credit card transactions are carried out on a secure server which means that the transfer of data between your computer and our server is encrypted.
All stored data will not be passed on to anyone or institution without permission or unless required do to do so by law.
Customer information may be transferred if a sale or transfer of Vet Meds Online assets occurred.
Please maintain your password security. Vet Meds Online cannot be held responsible for loss or damage incurred by the loss of your password security. If any doubts please contact Vet Meds Online.
Liability
The customer agrees that the use of this website is entirely at the customer's own risk.
We disclaim any and all warranties, including without limitation any warranties concerning the data on the website or the safety, efficacy of the medications requested.
We exclude all liability and responsibility for any amount of loss caused directly or indirectly as a result of using this website or websites linked to this website.
We cannot always guarantee the functionality of this website 24 hours a day as there may be need for repairs or maintenance.
