Overgrown Teeth

Symptoms: losing weight or difficulty eating. Overgrown tooth may be visible.
Treatment: your veterinarian would be able to trim the tooth back. Rodent teeth are continually growing so it requires constant monitoring.
Prevention:
Monitor teeth weekly. If your hamster requires teeth trimming it will have to be on a regular basis.
