Diarrhoea in Hamsters
DiarrhoeaCauses: usually bacterial or viral infection. Diarrhoea can result in dehydration and death.
Symptoms: wet tail area. Soft watery stool sometimes bloody.
Treatment: antibiotics and rehydration may be required.
Prevention: hygiene helps and isolate new hamsters in case they are carrying any disease. Seek help immediately if your hamster becomes sick.
